Bring Your Pets to be Blessed During Service!
Join us for a special ecumenical worship service at Lake Leota Park (in the horse barn shelter) on Sunday, July 21st! Hosted by Evansville United Methodist Church and Evansville United Church of Christ, this special service invites us to bless our wonderful life companions. The blessing of each animal, by name, means that health, healing and life are being given for the benefit of the animal in its relationship with its human partners.
The worship service is open to anyone who’d like their pets blessed. A free-will offering will be taken to support the Evansville Police Department’s purchase of a police dog. Please bring lawn chairs and water for yourself and your pet.
