Know God, Love God, Serve God

Bible Study

We hold several Bible studies throughout the year where we go through different devotional books to help us delve deeper into the Bible. Our Fall Bible study start in September/October, our Advent Bible Study starts the last week in November and runs until Christmas, our winter Bible Study starts after the new year and our lent Bible study starts 40 days before Easter. We may also hold additional Bible Studies as time and interest permits.

Americans are anxious people. A recent study found that one in five of us has an anxiety disorder and we spend over $2 billion a year on anti-anxiety medications. Often our life events play a significant role in our worries and fears.

Based on his book Unafraid, Adam Hamilton explores the most common worries and fears experienced by Americans today. He considers practical steps for overcoming these fears, and reflects upon fear in the light of Scripture and a faith that promises again and again that we don’t need to live in fear. We can live with courage and hope.

Join Pastor Ann on Wednesday mornings or Thursday evenings, for this study. Wednesday mornings will meet in-person in Fellowship Hall with participants wearing a mask and following social distancing guidelines. You will also be asked to sign a covenant before entering the building. Thursday evenings will be online via Zoom.
